Red Dog / Blue Dog is a joint website & book project put together by me, Chuck Sambuchino, as well as my wife, Bre, and, naturally, my dog, Graham. The book is from publisher Running Press (Perseus Books), released on Aug. 1, 2012.
Chuck Sambuchino is an editor and a writer. He works for Writer’s Digest Books (part of F+W Media) and edits the GUIDE TO LITERARY AGENTS (guidetoliteraryagents.com/blog) as well as the CHILDREN’S WRITER’S & ILLUSTRATOR’S MARKET — both of which are annual writing resource guides.
Chuck’s first humor book, HOW TO SURVIVE A GARDEN GNOME ATTACK (gnomeattack.com), was released in Sept. 2010 and has been featured by Reader’s Digest, USA Today, the New York Times and AOL News. The film rights were recently optioned by Sony and director Robert Zemeckis. RED DOG / BLUE DOG (July 2012, Running Press) is his second humor book.
In addition, Chuck has also written two other writing-related titles: the third edition of FORMATTING & SUBMITTING YOUR MANUSCRIPT (2009), and CREATE YOUR WRITER PLATFORM (fall 2012). He is a frequent speaker at some of the largest writers conferences around the country, having instructed at more than 60 events in the past five years. His Guide to Literary Agents Blog is one of the largest blogs in publishing.
Besides that, Chuck is a freelance editor, husband, cover band guitarist, chocolate chip cookie fiend, and owner of a flabby-yet-lovable dog named Graham.
